Excellent, retaining original blue finish with some dried grease and some light scraping on the bottom rail. The stock is also excellent with some dried grease. Mechanically excellent. The box is fine.

Receiver manufactured in February 1942 and marked with British "crown/BNP" proof on top of the chamber, "S-A-11-41" marked barrel with parkerized chamber ring and British proofs on the left, Springfield Armory pattern narrow base gas cylinder, "-2 SA/RE5A" bolt, unmodified "3 SA" operating rod, "8" follower, and "-5-SA" trigger housing with -2 SA" hammer and "-6SA" safety. Fitted with a replacement walnut stock set marked "SA" on the left. Includes a web sling.

Very fine as arsenal refurbished and assembled, with minor edge wear, some minor cycling wear, brown patina showing on the operating rod and front sight, and minor handling marks. The stock is fine as sanded and varnished. Mechanically excellent.
