Description:

Selected by the U.S. military in January 2017 as the winner of the Modular Handgun System (MHS) competition to replace the Beretta M9 series, the M17 is a variant of SIG Sauer's P320 line of striker-fired, semi-automatic pistols. This pistol is one of many M17s that were issued out to the U.S. Army in late 2017, with only 3,000 later returned to SIG Sauer and later made available for sale on the commercial market. Features tritium night sights, an optic mounting point on the slide, extra weight recoil spring, and Coyote PVD metal finish with coyote colored polymer. The grip unit is marked size "M". Includes the original box dated "02-DEC-2019" identifying the pistol as "UDM17-9-SURPLUS" along with two extra magazines, an extra recoil spring assembly, a "M17" marked user's manual, and an action lock. Also included is an inventory data log printout listing the pistol by serial number as sent from SIG Sauer Inc. in Newington, New Hampshire, to the U.S. Anniston Army Depot Central Receiving Point on October 26, 2017, and later sent back to SIG Sauer Inc. from The U.S. Anniston Army Depot Defense Logistics Agency on April 24, 2019. Note: This item features a high-capacity magazine which has a capacity above 15 rounds and cannot be sold or transferred to residents in states where handgun magazine capacity is limited to no more than 15 rounds. Please check your local laws and regulations prior to bidding.

Rating Definition:

Excellent as a former U.S. Army issued M17 service pistol, retaining nearly all of the original Coyote PVD finish with some minor scrapes, darkening on the right of the slide, and limited minor handling marks, fewer than what would be expected from a duty use sidearm. The grip module is also excellent with limited minor handling marks and crisp texturing. Mechanically excellent. The box is very fine.
