"WGP" monogram (Maj. Walter G. Penfield) inspected frame manufactured in 1913, Pre-World War I era slide with rounded rear notch sight and "H" in the hammer recess, and barrel with re-stamped "P" behind "H" on the polished chamber. Fitted with a pair of double-diamond checkered walnut grips and a two-tone magazine with lanyard loop on the pinned base. Includes a World War II era "U.S." embossed and "BOYT/42" marked leather holster.

Good, retaining traces of the original blue finish with edge wear, thinning revealing grey and brown patina, some minor pitting, light freckling, silvering, and mild handling wear. The grips are also good with compression wear. Mechanically excellent. The holster is fine.
