Swiss "cross in sunburst" crest on top of the chamber, Mauser "banner" monogram on the front toggle, spurious "crown/crown/U" proofed. Matching visible serial numbers on the frame and barrel, along with matching "88" partials marked on small parts. Fitted with a pair of replacement walnut grips with "88" partials on the interior and a nickel finished magazine with metal/hardwood base.

Very fine as refinished and reworked, retaining most of the finish with some light denting on the back strap and some minor edge wear/thinning. The grips are also very fine with a hairline crack in the right panel. Mechanically excellent.
