A) U.S. Saginaw S'G' M1 Carbine

Description:

Receiver manufactured in 1943, from the "B" range of the first production block (serial numbers 1,798,000 to 1,875,039) manufactured by the Saginaw Steering Gear Division of General Motors, Grand Rapids, from July to September 1943. "8-1943" dated Buffalo Arms barrel, unmarked type I barrel band, rear sight absent, "S'G'" type II operating rod, "S'G'" blued flat top bolt, and a "S'G'" milled trigger housing with "C/M" rotary safety, "IS" type IV magazine catch, and "W" type III hammer. Fitted with a reproduction M1A1 paratrooper stock with folding metal wire butt, perforated blued steel handguard, a painted "KSG" magazine, an aftermarket Picatinny rail adapter on top of the receiver, and a UTG red-dot optic. Includes a web sling and metal oiler. Note: This item is restricted under various state-level assault weapons bans and cannot be sold or transferred to residents of CA, CT, DE, HI, IL, MD, NJ, NY, and WA. Please check your local laws and regulations prior to bidding.

Rating Definition:

Fine as refinished, retaining much of the finish with some minor edge wear, light cycling wear with some added black paint, scattered minor patches of brown patina/spotting visible, and light handling marks. The replacement stock is very fine as varnished. Mechanically excellent. The optic is mechanically untested.

Description:

Receiver manufactured in 1943, from the first production block (serial number range 101 to 999,000) manufactured by the Inland Manufacturing Division of General Motors from May 1942 to December 1943. "7-43" dated Inland barrel, unmarked type I barrel band, "N" marked front sight, "S" L flip peep rear sight, "PI" type II operating rod, "AI" blued flat-top bolt, and milled Inland trigger housing with unmarked push button safety, "W.I." type III magazine catch, and HI" Type II hammer. Fitted with a high-wood walnut stock marked "RSG" in the sling channel along with "ordnance wheel" and boxed "S'G'" cartouche stamps on the right of the butt, an "IO" marked two-rivet handguard, and a blued "AI" magazine. Includes a "WALTER L. ALLEN/1943" marked dual cell magazine pouch, an extra "IA" blued magazine, a web sling, and a metal oiler. Note: This item features a high-capacity magazine which has a capacity above 15 rounds and cannot be sold or transferred to residents in states where handgun magazine capacity is limited to no more than 15 rounds. Rating Definition:

Fine, retaining some of the original parkerized finish with dried grease/varnish, scattered minor patches of brown patina/spotting, some minor cycling wear, and minor handling marks. The replacement stock is also fine as sanded and re-oiled with scattered light scrapes and some wood filler on the handguard. Mechanically excellent.
