A) U.S. Remington Model 03-A3 Rifle

Bore Condition: The bore is shiny with crisp rifling.
Description:

Manufactured in 1943. "RA/(flaming bomb)/9-43" marked barrel, "B&S" marked replacement bolt with "R" marked bolt sleeve, "RA" (Remington Arms), crossed cannons, and boxed "FJA" (Frank J. Atwood) cartouches stamped on the left stock wrist, with "OG" Ogden Arsenal rebuild stamp on the left of the buttstock. Includes a green canvas web sling, and oiler in the butt compartment.

Rating Definition:

Very fine as arsenal refurbished, with most of the finish, a personal identification number etched in the bottom of the trigger guard, and some cycling wear. Stock is also very fine as sanded and re-oiled, with a few minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.

Receiver manufactured in 1944. "RA/(flaming bomb)/3-44" marked replacement Remington barrel, "BF/R1" and "N" marked bolt. Includes an M1907 brown leather sling.

Rating Definition:

Very good as arsenal refurbished, with most of the finish, filing marks and a re-welded section visible around the cutoff switch, and some patches of freckling. Stock is also very good as sanded and re-oiled, with some scattered light scratches and dents, and a replacement handguard assembly. Mechanically excellent.
