A) German Occupation Austrian Steyr "bnz/41" Code K98k Rifle

Description:

Manufactured in 1941. Receiver ring marked with "bnz./41" code, proofs and serial number non-visible. Mixed numbers on components. Fitted with a laminate stock. Cleaning rod absent.

Rating Definition:

Good as reworked and refinished, with some of the finish, scattered edge wear, minor spotting/freckling, and some mild handling marks under the finish. The stock is very good as sanded and re-oiled with several mild gouges. Mechanically excellent.

Bore Condition: The bore is mostly bright with strong rifling and minor oxidation/pitting towards the muzzle.
Description:

Manufactured in 1938. "147/1938" code marked, "eagle/swastika/359" and droop wing "eagle/214" proofed receiver ring. Matching visible serial numbers on the barrel, trigger housing, magazine floor plate, rear sight, and barrel bands, with mixed numbers on the replacement bolt assembly. Fitted with a laminate stock re-numbered to match on the left of the butt.

Rating Definition:

Fine as refinished, retaining most of the finish, with softened receiver markings, some minor pitting visible under the finish, plum coloration on the extractor, brown patina showing mostly on the lower band and buttplate, along with scattered mild handling marks. The stock is also fine as sanded and re-oiled with some minor dents and handling marks. Mechanically excellent.

Bore Condition: The bore is partially darkened with strong rifling and oxidation/pitting.
Description:

Manufactured in 1918. "Crown/ERFURT/1918" marked and "crown/Gothic letter" proofed receiver ring. Matching visible serial numbers on the bolt assembly, trigger housing, magazine floor plate, barrel bands, front sight, and action screws. Stacking rod and lower band sling eyelet removed. Fitted with a "crown/Gothic letter" proofed walnut stock, shortened at the forend, with matching serial number on the underside.

Rating Definition:

Good as reworked and refinished, retaining traces of the finish with filing marks, scattered edge wear, thinning, visible brown patina, and mild handling wear. The stock is also good as shortened, sanded, stained, and re-oiled. Mechanically excellent.
