Manufactured in 1916. "Triangle/VP" and "y" marked on the left of the trigger guard, "COLT 45 AUTO" marked blued barrel with polished chamber hood. Fitted with a pair of Pachmayr laminate hardwood grips with finger grooved rubber front strap cover. Magazine is absent.

Very good, retaining some of the original finish with light edge wear, thinning on the balance with mostly brown patina, some minor visible patches of spotting/freckling, and light handling marks. The replacement grips are very fine. Mechanically excellent.
