Per the included factory letter, this pistol was part of a two-piece shipment to Chas. J. Godfrey Company of New York City on March 11, 1909. Also included is a copy of a vintage undated advertisement for Colt pistols and revolvers being sold through Godfrey.

Fair, with original blue on the barrel, a mixed gray and brown patina on the remainder, scattered pitting, and some scratches and dents. Grips are fair hand-checkered replacements, with mild dents. Mechanically excellent.
