Bore Condition: The bore is dark and has oxidation and pitting.
Description:

This pistol has no identifying markings aside from a circled "D" on the breech and "RFM" carved on the left side of the stock, but it is similar to other pistols identified as manufactured under American contracts in the early 19th century by Joseph Henry and others.

Rating Definition:

Good as refinished and reconverted to flintlock with dark patina, oxidation, pitting, some cracks and chips in the stock, and general moderate wear. Mechanically fine.
