Bore Condition: The bore is partially darkened with some light pitting and distinct rifling.
Description:

Manufactured c. 1863-1865 for use in the Civil War and converted and relined with 3-groove rifling after the war for use in the Indian Wars.

Rating Definition:

Fine as arsenal refurbished, with much of the finish concentrated mostly on the barrel and in protected areas, some worn barrel markings, scattered freckling and some patches of light pitting. Wood is fine as arsenal refurbished, with some scattered light dents and scratches. Absent saddle ring. Mechanically fine.
