Manufactured c. 1874-1888. Beach style combination front sight, adjustable sporting rear sight, long range Vernier tang peep sight, single set trigger, matching serial numbers on the barrel and lower tang, and "S.T." and "45 70" also on the bottom of the barrel.

Good with some original finish, mottled dark brown patina and oxidation, refinished wood, and general mild overall wear. Mechanically fine.
