Manufactured in 1899. Includes a brown leather sling and a three-piece cleaning rod.

Good with some original finish, smooth brown and gray patina on the balance, scattered surface freckling and a few areas of light pitting. Replacement screw and an empty screw hole on top of the bolt sleeve along with some filing. Stock is also good as sanded and re-oiled, with some light handling marks, and a crack visible at the rear of the handguard. Mechanically excellent.

Manufactured in 1901. Correct "C" marked raised blade front sight, 1901 pattern folding ladder rear sight with "C" marked base, boxed script "JSA/1901" cartouche stamped on the left wrist of the stock, with a circled script "P" proof on bottom. Includes a three-piece cleaning rod in the butt compartment.

Very good with traces of original finish, smooth brown and gray patina, scattered surface freckling and some patches of surface oxidation/pitting. Stock is also very good with numerous scattered small dings, dents, some glue visible around the buttplate tang, and a crisp cartouche. Mechanically excellent.
