Bore Condition: The bore is partially darkened and has distinct rifling and pitting.
Description:

Manufactured c. 1859-1863 as a carbine and later rebuilt as a metallic cartridge sporting rifle using a barrel and sights from a slant breech Sharps.

Rating Definition:

Good as assembled and partially refinished with gray and brown patina, some case colors, spliced wood, and general mild wear. Will fire from half-cock, otherwise mechanically fine.
