Manufactured 1848, "COLT'S/PATENT/U.S." stamped on the left of the frame, and unnumbered loading lever, mismatch cylinder ("2572") and wedge ("27"), matching serial numbers on frame, barrel, trigger guard, and back strap.

Good overall with a dark artificial patina on most of the metal surfaces, refinished grip with a couple small chips, number of dings and scratches. Action functions but cylinder out of sync.
