Description:

"1863" dated tail of the lock with "PARKERS'SNOW&CO./MERIDEN.CONN." marked at the center, "1863" dated breech of the barrel with "V/P/eagle head" proofs, "J.O." carved on the bottom of the stock below the lock.

Rating Definition:

Very good with some scattered patches of light pitting, freckling and areas of brown patina, and defined markings in the metal. Stock is good as sanded and re-oiled, with scattered dents and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
