Manufactured c. 1863-1865 for use in the Civil War and converted and relined with 3-groove rifling after the war for use in the Indian Wars.

ConditionFair as refinished, with scattered heavy pitting visible underneath the finish, and mild wear. Wood is good as sanded and re-oiled, with scattered dents and scratches, and a few cracks, Absent firing pin assembly, otherwise mechanically functions.
