Bore Condition: The bore is darkened with pitting/oxidation and no visible rifling.
Description:

"1863" dated lock, faint date on barrel, converted to two-band "artillery" configuration, brass buttplate and forend cap, barrel appears bored smooth.

Rating Definition:

Good, with mixed grey/brown patina, some mild pitting at the breech and scattered patches of light pitting, and wood with a couple minor cracks and minor handling marks. Mechanically fine.
