Bore Condition: The bore is mostly bright with pitting and distinct rifling.
Description:

Manufactured in 1861. Colt manufactured about 4,000 revolvers of this model with a fluted cylinder found in the 1 to 8000 serial number range. Wedge numbered to a different gun, the other visible numbers are matching but are remarked. With a package of combustible envelope cartridges and "COLTS/PATENT" marked iron bullet mold.

Rating Definition:

Good overall as assembled with a gray patina, traces of silver plating on the trigger guard, some pitting, barrel shortened, grip with a few dings and high edge wear. Mechanically very good.
