Description:

Tower lock dated "1849", "F ROSSON" maker's marked stock with "1862" dated cartouche, various British military proofs.

Rating Definition:

Good, with faint traces of original finish mixed with grey/brown patina, attractively aged brass, and wood with minor handling marks, a couple hairline cracks, and mild wear. Mechanically excellent.
