Description:

Manufactured in 1943. The left side of the frame is marked with a "FJA" (Lt. Col. Frank J. Atwood) inspector stamp and "P", with British "crown/BNP" proofs on the right side of the frame and slide (likely indicating Lend-Lease use), while the "HS" (High Standard) marked blued barrel lacks any British proofs (likely indicating it is a replacement). Features checkered magazine release and narrow-spur hammer, along with serrated slide catch, thumb safety, and arched mainspring housing. Fitted with a pair of "star/K" marked Keyes Fibre Co. brown checkered plastic grips and an unmarked parkerized magazine. Includes a M56 pattern dual cell web magazine pouch and two extra "C-P" marked blued magazines.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, retaining most of the original finish with scattered minor edge wear, a minor takedown drag line, some minor thinning with brown patina showing on the grip straps, and some light handling marks. The grips are also very fine with some light handling marks and scrapes in the otherwise crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
