Manufactured very early in the 1900 Swiss Luger contract, this pistol has the early style "unrelieved" frame, lacking the cutouts in the grip frame and magazine well to accommodate the later pattern extended magazine follower button that would become the standard through most of the Luger life cycle. Blade front and notch rear sights, with "cross in sunburst" on the chamber, "DWM" front toggle link, "crown/B", "crown/U" and "crown/G" proofs, early shallow and wide safety lever with bright polished lower position, narrow trigger, leaf recoil spring, checkered grips and an unnumbered magazine with nickel panels in the base.

Very good as professionally refinished, with areas of plum patina, bright edge wear and minor handling marks. The grips are good as re-checkered, with minor dings and dark spots. The rear toggle pin is a very tight fit to the rear link. Mechanically very good.
