Manufactured in 1934. Mauser "banner" marked, "1934" dated, and "crown/B,G,U, and N" proofed receiver ring. Matching visible serial numbers on the barrel, bolt assembly, trigger housing, and magazine floor plate. Fitted with a grasping groove walnut stock set. Includes a brown leather sling and muzzle cover.

Fine as refinished, with some mild edge wear, some minor pitting under the finish, scattered mild thinning and freckling, plum coloration on the bolt assembly, scattered minor patches of brown patina/spotting showing, mild cycling wear, and light handling marks. The stock is also fine as re-oiled with scattered minor dents and scratches. Mechanically excellent.

Originally manufactured by the Mauser factory under commercial contract for the Portuguese government in 1941 (designated the m/937B), but due to demand was diverted to the German Army for use in the early stages of World War II. Portuguese coat of arms marked and "1941" dated receiver ring with "eagle/swastika" and "eagle/135" German military proofs. Matching visible serial numbers on the barrel, bolt assembly, trigger housing, magazine floor plate, rear sight, and both barrel bands. Fitted with a walnut stock set with Portuguese coat of arms and "1941" date on the left of the butt, along with "eagle/swastika/WaA135" proofs and matching serial number on the underside.

Very good, retaining some of the original blue finish with some minor edge wear, scattered thinning on the barrel, bands, magazine floor plate, and trigger housing with mostly brown patina showing, some minor freckling, light cycling wear, and some mild handling marks. The stock is also very good as lightly sanded and re-oiled with pitting/corrosion on the right of the recoil bolt, scattered minor handling marks, and attractive fiddle-back grain. Mechanically excellent.
