Description:

Manufactured in early 1945, from the end of the fifth production block (serial number range 6,629,884 to 7,234,883) by Inland Manufacturing Division between November 1944 to August 1945, which included some M2 production. Original, parts correct with handstamped M1 rollmark on the receiver ring, "1-45" dated Inland barrel, "AI" type III barrel band, "N" marked front sight, "I.R.CO." type III adjustable peep rear sight, "P-I" type V operating rod, "IO" blued round-top bolt, and milled Inland trigger housing with unmarked push button safety, "HI" type IV magazine catch, and "HI" type III hammer. Fitted with a walnut low-wood stock marked "IO" in the sling channel along with an "ordnance wheel" cartouche stamp on the right of the butt, an "IO" marked four-rivet handguard, and a blued "I.I." magazine. Note: This item features a high-capacity magazine which has a capacity above 15 rounds and cannot be sold or transferred to residents in states where handgun magazine capacity is limited to no more than 15 rounds. Please check your local laws and regulations prior to bidding.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, retaining original finish with limited minor edge wear, some limited spotting/brown patina showing, dried grease, minor cycling wear, and limited minor handling marks. The stock is very fine with a few minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
