Manufactured c. 1943-1945. Imperial "chrysanthemum" crest retained on the chamber ring. Matching "009" partial serial numbers on the bolt assembly, matching "765" assembly numbers on both edge plates, takedown screw, and barrel, along with a non-matching numbered bayonet lug. Includes a canvas sling.

Very good as refinished, with some traces of original finish visible along with scattered minor pitting, some cold blue on the bands, scattered brown patina, some light spotting, and light handling marks. The stock is also very good as sanded and re-oiled. Mechanically excellent.
