Description:

Receiver manufactured in 1943, from the first production block (serial number range 1,000,000 to 1,349,999) manufactured by Winchester from October 1942 to December 1943. "6-43" dated Inland replacement barrel, "JI" marked type III barrel band, "I.R.CO." adjustable peep rear sight, "DA-Q" operating rod, "U" parkerized round-top bolt, and a "BE-B" fabricated trigger housing with stamped trigger guard, "CM" lever safety, type V magazine catch, and "WA" Type III hammer. Fitted with a walnut high-wood stock marked "W" in the sling channel along with a boxed "RIA/EB" (U.S. Rock Island Arsenal, Elmer Bjerke) rebuild stamp on the left of the wrist, an "IO" marked four-rivet handguard, and a blued "KSG" magazine. Note: This item features a high-capacity magazine which has a capacity above 15 rounds and cannot be sold or transferred to residents in states where handgun magazine capacity is limited to no more than 15 rounds. Please check your local laws and regulations prior to bidding.

Rating Definition:

Very fine as arsenal refurbished and assembled, with some minor edge wear, some dried grease/brown patina showing, and minor handling marks. The stock is also very fine as arsenal refurbished with a few minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
