Manufactured c. 1879-1880s, used in German military service until 1908. "Imperial eagle" and "crown/Gothic letter" proofed. Matching visible serial numbers on the frame, side plate, barrel, and cylinder. Fitted with a pair of walnut grips with matching serial number on the interior of the right panel. "72.A.1.53," unit marked butt of the frame.

Fine as arsenal refurbished, with some minor edge wear, a light cylinder drag line, some minor pitting, scattered brown patina, and light handling marks under the finish. The grips are very good as sanded and re-oiled with scattered light compression marks and a few small chips. Mechanically excellent.

Manufactured in 1893. "Imperial eagle" and "crown/Gothic letter" proofed, "crown/ERFURT/1893" marked side plate. Matching visible serial numbers on the side plate, frame, barrel, and cylinder. Fitted with a pair of smooth walnut grips with matching partial serial numbers on the interiors.

Very good, retaining traces of original finish on the balance with brown patina, some light edge wear, mild freckling, a light cylinder drag line, and minor handling marks. The grips are fine as re-oiled with some minor compression marks. Mechanically excellent.
