Manufactured in 1942, as one of roughly 15,000 manufactured c. 1941-1943. "G.41(M)" marked, "1942" dated, and "eagle/135" proofed receiver ring. Matching visible serial numbers on the barrel, top cover, bolt, bolt carrier, magazine floor plate, trigger housing, rear sight, both barrel bands, and gas trap piston housing. Fitted with an "eagle/swastika/WaA135" proofed laminate stock with matching serial number on the underside. Includes a leather sling.

Very good as refinished and reworked, retaining some of the finish with scattered mild edge wear, filing marks, the top cover drilled and tapped with two poorly fitting filler screws, a cut down gas trap booster at the muzzle, patches of minor spotting, some brown patina, silvering, and mild handling marks. The stock is fine as duffel cut under the lower band with a chipped section missing from the right front section of the wrist, along with minor handling marks and clear stamps. The cut down gas trap booster likely interferes with semi-automatic function, otherwise mechanically fine.
