Manufactured in 1916, subsequently arsenal reworked in 1920. "1920/crown/DANZIG/1916" marked and "crown/Gothic letter" proofed receiver ring. "S/42G" and "K|167" arsenal rebuild marks on the rear sight base. Mixed serial numbers on components. Fitted with an arsenal replacement birch handguard and grasping groove stock.

Fine as arsenal refurbished, retaining much of the finish with pitting under the finish of the bolt, some obliterated original markings, minor edge wear, some light patches of spotting, and light handling marks. The stock is also fine as sanded and re-oiled with scattered light handling marks. Mechanically excellent.

Manufactured in 1939. Importer mark on the "eagle/WaA623" proofed barrel. "660" code marked, "1939" dated, Russian "X" capture marked, and "eagle/WaA625" proofed receiver ring. Matching serial numbers on the barrel and trigger housing, with the bolt assembly, magazine floor plate, and the laminate buttstock re-numbered to match.

Fine as arsenal refurbished, retaining much of the finish with thinning on the bolt and barrel bands with brown and grey patina, some minor pitting under the finish, some minor patches of spotting/freckling, and light handling marks. The stock is also fine as sanded and re-oiled with some light dents. Mechanically excellent.
