Receiver manufactured in late 1944, from the fourth production block (serial number range 6,219,689 to 6,449,883) manufactured by Inland Manufacturing Division from August to November 1944, and also falls within the second serial block (approximate serial number range 4,950,000 to 6,650,000) of M1A1 Paratrooper production. "11-44" dated Inland barrel, "AI" type III barrel band, "N" marked front sight, "PI" type II adjustable peep rear sight, "P-I" type V operating rod, "A.I." blued round-top bolt, and milled Inland trigger housing with "M" type V magazine catch, "CM" type IV flip safety, and "H.I." type III hammer. Fitted with a first production block M1A1 'high-wood' stock with steel cheek rest rivets and "IO" marked in the stock channel, "IO" four-rivet handguard, and "KSG" blued magazine. Includes a web sling and metal oiler. Very fine as arsenal refurbished, with some minor edge wear, some minor spotting on the safety, some limited minor areas of brown patina showing, minor cycling wear, and minor handling marks. The stock is fine as sanded and re-oiled with some scattered light dent and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
