A) U.S. Quality Hardware M1 Carbine

Bore Condition: The bore is partially darkened with some pitting concentrated in the muzzle and defined rifling.
Description:

Manufactured as part of Quality Hardware's first production block between February 1943 to September 1943 in the 1550000-1662519 serial number range. Undated Rock-Ola barrel, "Q" marked type III barrel band, "N" front sight, "I.R.CO." adjustable rear sight, "UN" parkerized flat top bolt, flip safety, unmarked magazine catch, unmarked trigger housing with stamped trigger guard, "UN-Q" operating rod, separately housed operating rod spring, "RMC" two-rivet handguard, low wood M2 walnut stock with and illegible markings in the sling inlet, and "BW" magazine. Note: This item features a high-capacity magazine which has a capacity above 15 rounds and cannot be sold or transferred to residents in states where handgun magazine capacity is limited to no more than 15 rounds. Please check your local laws and regulations prior to bidding.

Rating Definition:

Good as arsenal refurbished, with some finish, smooth gray and brown patina, some discoloration, and scattered freckling and light pitting. Stock is also good as sanded and re-oiled, with numerous scattered dents and scratches. Mechanically excellent.

Receiver manufactured as part of the second production block from Winchester between December 1943 to November 1944 in the 5549922-5834618 serial number range, with Inland's serial production running into this range as well. "W" marked and "WP" proofed Winchester barrel, "KI" type III barrel band, "PI" operating rod, "IO" parkerized flat top bolt, and "SG" milled trigger housing with flip safety, "WMB" hammer, "RI" sear, "CC" magazine catch, walnut low-wood stock marked "TRIMBLE" in the sling channel, "AA" (Augusta Arsenal) rebuild stamp on the left of the wrist, with the matching serial number stamped on the left of the buttstock, large white painted "102239" on the right of the buttstock, an "RSG" marked two-rivet handguard, and a blued "LU" magazine. Import marked barrel. Includes a green canvas web sling and metal oiler. Note: This item features a high-capacity magazine which has a capacity above 15 rounds and cannot be sold or transferred to residents in states where handgun magazine capacity is limited to no more than 15 rounds.
