A) U.S. Winchester M1 Garand Semi-Automatic Rifle

Bore Condition: The bore is mostly bright with strong rifling and light streaking.
Description:

April 1941 production receiver, "WINCHESTER" trade marked and "5-67" dated barrel with parkerized chamber ring, "M" marked gas cylinder lock, "-1 W.R.A." marked bolt, "IHC" operating rod, and "W.R.A." trigger housing with post-war "SA" hammer and unmarked milled trigger guard. Fitted with a set of replacement birch handguard and stock with circled "P" firing proof on the grip.

Rating Definition:

Fine as arsenal refurbished, retaining much of the finish with minor edge wear, some limited minor pitting under the finish, some minor patches of visible brown patina, and light handling marks. The stock is very good as sanded and re-oiled with numerous scattered light handling marks, scrapes, and scuffs. Mechanically excellent.

Bore Condition: The bore is mostly shiny with crisp rifling and some minor streaking.
Description:

Receiver manufactured c. 1943-1944. "SC/flaming bomb/4 43" marked barrel, "R" (Remington Arms) marked bolt. Fitted with a walnut handguard and 'S' profile stock with "RA" (Remington Arms), "FJA" (Col. Frank J. Atwood), and "ordnance wheel" stamps on the left of the wrist.

Rating Definition:

Fine as arsenal refurbished, retaining much of the finishes with some minor edge wear, light cycling wear, some light patches of brown patina visible on the trigger housing, and light spotting/corrosion on the buttplate. The stock is very good as sanded and re-oiled with numerous scattered light handling marks and dents. Mechanically excellent.
