Receiver manufactured in 1912, and subsequently converted to a Model 1937 "Bannerman Special" rifle by Francis Bannerman & Sons utilizing surplus Model 1903, Model 1917, and Krag components blended into a single rifle. Unmarked barrel, circle "S" rear sight base, and bolt numbered "20" to match.

Good as arsenal refinished and converted, with some of the finish, scattered brown patina/spotting, minor pitting, light edge wear, light cycling wear, and scattered mild handling wear. The stock is also good as sanded, re-profiled, and re-oiled with enormous scattered light dents and scrapes. Bolt occasionally hangs up; otherwise, mechanically very good.
