"JMG" monogram (Lt. Col. J. M. Gilbert) inspected frame manufactured in 1918, with "A A" (U.S. Augusta Arsenal) rebuild stamp on the left. Colt World War I era slide, World War II era "Colt 45 AUTO" replacement barrel. Fitted with a pair of plastic grips and unmarked blued magazine. Includes a matching Civilian Marksmanship Program certificate of authenticity dated August 8, 2019, and a tan hard case.

Fine as arsenal refurbished, with light edge wear, some minor freckling/brown patina showing, and mild handling marks. The left grip panel is very fine while the fine right panel has some minor scuffs in the otherwise crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
