1943 production frame with "GHD" (Lt. Col. Guy H. Drewry) inspector mark on the left, World War II production Colt slide with matching "919/313" serial number behind the firing pin stop, and "COLT 45 AUTO" barrel. British proofs visible on the right side of the frame, slide, and barrel chamber hood. Fitted with pair of checkered brown plastic grips, and a blued magazine marked "L" on the toe.

Very fine as refinished/reworked, retaining most of the original finish on the frame with the slide modified with replacement iron sights, some minor edge wear, minor cycling wear, some minor patches of spotting/brown patina, and scattered light handling marks. The grips are also very fine with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
