Manufactured in 1940. "1940" dated chamber, "eagle/655" proofed. Matching visible serial numbers on the frame, barrel, and extension, with matching "17" partials on small parts except the correctly un-numbered "eagle/655" proofed grips. Fitted with an "eagle/37" proofed blued magazine with base numbered to another pistol. Includes a "G.J.Ensink&Co./OHRDRUF/1939" marked and "eagle/swastika/WaA163" proofed leather flap holster and an extra "eagle/37" proofed blued magazine with base numbered to another pistol.

Very fine as professionally refinished, retaining most of the finish with some light holster pattern edge wear, some minor thinning on the grip straps with grey and brown patina, some brown/plum coloration on the barrel and left of frame, and light handling marks. The grips are also very fine with some minor handling marks in the otherwise crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The holster is very fine.
