The DWM Model 1906 American Eagle commercial Luger pistols in 7.65mm were manufactured c. 1908-1911. American Eagle crest on top of chamber, DWM logo on the front toggle, "GERMANY" marked on the frame below the serial number. The American Eagle Lugers were made expressly for export to the United States, and these metal telescoping stocks were designed and patented by the Ideal company specifically for use on early Luger pistols equipped with the special grips. Both sides of the included Ideal shoulder stock are marked "PATENTS PENDING". Fine as refinished, with much of the finish, and some scattered freckling. Grips are also fine with replacement walnut sections, and some light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Stock holster is very good.
