Very good as refinished, retaining much of the finish with light edge wear, thinning on the grip strap with brown patina, thinning on the barrel with some grey and brown patina, some minor spotting, and minor handling marks. The grips are fine with defined ribbing. Mechanically excellent. The holster is very fine.

Manufactured in 1936. "1936" dated chamber, "S/42" code toggle, drooped wing "eagle/63" proofed. Matching visible serial numbers on the frame, barrel, and extension, along with matching "36" partials on small parts. Fitted with a pair of un-numbered replacement checkered walnut grips and a blued magazine with non-matching base. Includes a "gjh/41" code and "P.08." marked black leather flap holster with "TAV" carved into the back.

Very fine as refinished, retaining most of the finish with some limited minor pitting under the finish, softened proofs, and scattered light handling marks under the finish. The replacement grips are exceptionally fine with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The holster is fine.
