Bore Condition: The bore is shiny with crisp rifling and some minor streaking.
Description:

Receiver manufactured in 1944, from the second production block (serial number range 5,834,619 to 6,071,188) manufactured by the Saginaw Steering Gear Division of General Motors from March 1944 to May 1944. "9-43" dated Inland barrel, "J.M.Q." marked type III barrel band, "I.R.CO." adjustable peep rear sight, "SG" type II operating rod, "SG" parkerized flat top bolt, and "SG" milled trigger housing with "circle/S" rotary safety, "E-SG" type IV magazine catch, and unmarked type III hammer. Fitted with a low-wood walnut stock marked "RSG" in the sling channel, "U" on the left of the wrist, and boxed "SG" and "ordnance wheel" stamps on the right of the butt, a "RSG" marked two-rivet handguard, and a blued "UI" magazine. Includes a web sling, metal oiler, a M56 pattern web belt, two dual cell "U.S." web magazine pouches (one for M1911 pistol magazines marked "BOYLE/1942"), two extra blued magazines (one marked "KSG", the other "IA"), and unmarked M4 pattern bayonet, and M8A1 scabbard. Note: This item features a high-capacity magazine which has a capacity above 15 rounds and cannot be sold or transferred to residents in states where handgun magazine capacity is limited to no more than 15 rounds. Please check your local laws and regulations prior to bidding.

Rating Definition:

Fine as arsenal refurbished, retaining most of the finish with some light edge wear, minor cycling wear, some pitting under the finish of the operating rod, and light handling marks. The stock is also fine with scattered minor compression and handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The bayonet is fine.
