Manufactured c. 1982-1983 as one of 1,000 Model 70 Ultra Grade Featherweight rifles manufactured by Winchester Repeating Arms. Marked in gold "1 of 1,000" on the right rear of the barrel and with two gold inlaid bands around the muzzle. Features a fine floral scroll engraved receiver with gold inlaid border accents, gold inlaid Winchester trademark on the left wall and serial number on the right side of the receiver ring. The top left-rear of the receiver is signed "Bottega C Giovanelli." Fitted with a deluxe walnut pistol grip stock with fancy bordered checkered forearm and wrist. Includes the original shipping box and packing box.

Excellent overall, retaining nearly all of the original finishes with limited handling marks, crisp engravings, and crisp stock checkering. Mechanically excellent. The box is fine.
