Description:

Top of walking stick is engraved "General C.B. Blethen". Floral patterns carved throughout wood. According to an article published in The Seattle Times, C.B. Blethen served as a commandant of the Washington National Guard. Blethen was also the publisher of The Seattle Times from 1915 to 1941. Measures 34 1/2". Consignor states that both ends of the walking stick are sterling silver.
