"Ted Williams MODEL 100" barrel marking is crossed out. The Model 100 was a Winchester Model 94 marketed through Sears. Note, however, the receiver carries a Winchester Model 94 serial number that dates to 1981, not a Sears "V" prefix number, and the forearm lacks provision for an end cap as found on Model 100s built for Sears. With factory paper tag hand marked "SPECIAL/GUN/DO NOT/FIRE" and "BILL/SAARI."
