With wood display case, case key, and plaque. Plaque reads "MONITOR/STAR/VIRGINIA/MARCH 9 1862". Right side of barrel marked "HAMPTON ROADS VIRGINIA/STAR/1862". Left side of barrel marked "USS MONITOR/CSS VIRGINIA". Corrosion present by ramrod.
