Replaced stock and rear sight. Consignor states rifle is a Style 1 rolling block made for either Mexico and South American countries. Provenance: Colonel Brent Goodwin, U.S. Army (retired), a lifetime collector of the Remington Rolling Block military rifles of the world, is recognized as one of the leading experts regarding their many types and variations. Over the past 50 years his collection has contained at least one of every type, including those manufactured in other nations under license from Remington.
