Description:

Manufactured in 1911. Consignor states revolver was owned by his grandfather who was a physician with the Philippines Constabulary after the Spanish-American War. He was once held captive in order to heal a chieftain's son from a crocodile attack. The revolver was hidden by the physicians scouts (who he was required to travel with while treating patients) and later used to help aid in his escape and return safely to headquarters.
