Overall finish is bright steel with 24k gold washed small parts, with the Tokyo Arsenal and presentation markings on top, model markings on the right side, and "SMG" (a mandatory marking on model guns in Japan) on the right side of the frame next to the grip. The barrel is blocked, and the bolt is solid, with no provision for a firing pin.
