An included letter from Arms Historian Roe S. Clark indicates the pistol was accepted from the factory on August 24, 1920 and was later shipped to H&D Folsom Arms Co. of New York City on November 23, 1920. Provenance: The Bailey Brower, Jr. Collection, author of “Savage Pistols”
