Includes factory letter confirming barrel length and type, stock configuration, that the gun was ordered by "Thomas Larter of Cleveland, OH on December 20, 1882 and shipped on December 21, 1882", and that the gun was returned on "January 24, 1888 by Thomas Larter to have a rubber butt on".

Rating Definition:

Fair overall with original finish, handling marks, and spotting/pitting throughout. Wood has some cracks and chips. Mechanically good.
