Fluted octagon barrel with 4 position ramp front sight. Integral rib on the top flat. Reform Aydt action with outstanding full coverage floral engraving with a man shooting a target rifle on the right side and a large spectacular circular high relief engraved initials "CM". There is silver inlay accents present on numerous areas that the engraver must have wanted to be recognized. It blends well with the casehardening and is very subdued. Has double set triggers, missing rear tang sight. Tyrolean style straight grip stock with checkering, steel Schuetzen buttplate. Dog head carved checkered forearm with key wedge attachment.

Excellent (with exception noted below) overall with 95% original blue on the barrel. Much of the casehardening is remaining with some fading on the bottom of the receiver and lever. Some light spotting and a area of light pitting near the action, with sharp engraving and some light surface pitting on the right side. Light handling marks on the stock with good finish. Chipped thumb rest. Splinter of wood missing on the left side. A nice late model reform Aydt that would enhance any collection.
