Description:

Round Number 1 weight barrel with a beach combination front sight, filler block in the rear seat. Marked 32 WCF, two proofs (one with a circle P and one with a circle VP). Casehardened, flat top, crown / double "V" proofed straight grip action with a standard trigger and a Lyman combination rear tang sight. Plain straight grip stock with a checkered steel buttplate. Plain forearm with a black inlay in the tip. Factory letter states shipment on April 28 1886 as a 38 WCF 28" octagon barrel. Records also say shipped May 26 1894 with a 24" round No. 1 barrel in 32 WCF, Lyman globe sight, no rear seat. It's current configuration is slightly different.

Rating Definition:

Excellent with 98% original blue on the barrel, 90% case color on the action, excellent stock finish with a few slight handling marks. A mint very early flat top high wall.
